Throughout the year, there are plenty of amazing events in which to participate with your pup, so save the date(s) on your calendar!
Saturday, April 12th, 2025: The Ultimutt Race
This 5k obstacle race at Homestead at Hartness, designed by canine agility and fitness professionals, was created to challenge each dog/owner team! Bond with your dog through more than 17 obstacles on the Competitive or Fun Run options. The race is followed by a fun festival for all that includes food trucks, a music stage, and more.
Saturday, April 26th, 2025 : Papa John’s Mutt Strut for Greenville Humane Society
Enjoy a two-mile walk/run through beautiful Downtown Greenville. Following immediately after, the Mutt Market festival and after-pawty takes place on South Main Street. The streets are lined with entertainment including live music, free pizza from Papa Johns, caricature artists, face painters, and sponsor tents with plenty of awesome giveaways. Proceeds benefit the stellar work of Greenville Humane Society helping find homes in Upstate SC for pets.
Saturday, May 3rd, 2025: Greenville County Animal Cares Tails & Trails
Support Greenville County Animal Care’s mission to care for Upstate SC animals and find homes in Greenville SC for worthy cats and dogs through this 5K walk/run race in the scenic Conestee Nature Preserve. Following the event, enjoy the vendor village, puppy pools, and more fun activities for the whole gang!
September 6th 9am-2pm: Waggin’ at the Waterparks
Greenville County Parks and Recreation opens its Discovery Island (September 6) and Otter Creek (September 14) water parks at the end of each summer season for some canine fun before the water is drained for the winter. If your dog loves water and playing with other dogs, you do not want to miss this event! Registration is required, so keep an eye on the announcements page for the waterparks. Registration typically begins in early August.
April 30th 7:05pm & August 7th 7:05pm: Bark in the Park at the Greenville Drive
Enjoy a Greenville Drive game at Flour Field with your four-legged baseball fan. Twice a year, the Greenville Drive invites patrons to bring their dogs to the ball park for a fun-filled and barktastic game. A wide range of vendors, activities, and contests will round out the experience for dogs and their people!
