Finding homes in Greenville SC for Pets & People
Anyone who has ever met me or glanced twice at my social media knows how much I love animals. I’m already in the business of finding homes in Greenville, so helping find homes for Upstate pets is right in my wheelhouse! It was easy to decide to support local animal welfare organizations as part of my own values and as part of Coldwell Banker Caine's "Caine Cares" initiative.
While doing my 2024 business planning, I committed to supporting the Greenville Humane Society in three distinct ways:
For every transaction I close, I make a monetary donation to the organization.
I participate in fundraising events.
I promote the organization's visibility on social media and through my professional channels.
My team, the Taco Trotters, had an excellent turnout for the Mutt Strut in April. In June I launched an annual donation drive for "Christmas in July." Summer is a historically slow time of year for charitable giving, so it was an ideal time to raise awareness. We collected a carload of needed items, and the Humane Society received numerous monetary donations. Overall, it was an excellent first year for this initiative. Next year, I hope to do even more!
Because Greenville Humane Society relies entirely on donations, they accept help year-round! You can give any time. There are two main options:
Purchase items from the Greenville Humane Society Amazon list. Make sure to select "Greenville Humane Society's Gift Registry Address" for the delivery, and add your name and "Christmas in July" in the "gift options" box.
If you prefer to make a monetary donation, every little bit helps! Go to the Donation Page, select "One Time Donation" and then "General Donation" and write "Christmas in July" in the comments box. That way we will be able to share how much we all raised by working together!
Throughout the year, I also feature other animal rescue organizations on my social media channels. Keep your eyes out for cute puppy pics and more!
