Greenville is still a relatively small city, compared to major metropolitan areas. It is well located between Charlotte, NC, and Atlanta, GA. Only an hour from the mountains surrounding Asheville, NC, and a few hours from the beaches along the South Carolina coast, Greenville is close to it all. The city offers a thriving arts and entertainment scene, numerous breweries and acclaimed restaurants, plenty of unique shopping, and cultural diversity enhanced by global businesses such as BMW Manufacturing and Michelin.

You’ll never be bored in Greenville. Entertainment venues such as the Peace Center and Bon Secours Wellness Arena offer year-round shows featuring everything from local talent to international superstars. Numerous open-air festivals take place every year, including Artisphere, Euphoria, Fall for Greenville, and the Greek Festival. Downtown bustles with energy each week during the warmer months with the Saturday Market, Downtown Alive, and Main Street Fridays. Falls Park and Cleveland Park are popular among those who love to explore. You can find more outdoor fun at Unity Park and along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Schools

Residents of Greenville attend Greenville County Schools. Greenville is also home to two notable public-school arts programs: The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities and the Fine Arts Center.
